The legend of origin of Ayurveda says us about revelations of the wise men that found out the secrets of the universe from about 7,000 years ago. System of Ayurveda came to Sri Lanka more than 5,000 years ago, and since then has become a part of people’s life. Everybody dreams of a long, healthy life. Ayurveda centers and doctors of Sri Lanka are ready to help to reach this. The word "Ayurveda" can be translated as "knowledge of life," "knowledge of a long life" or even "science of life."
